Expert discussion: Copper importations to Germany - extensive supply chains and cooperate responsibility

According to prognosis the worldwide need for copper will increase by 260 per cent until 2030. Germany is the leading copper consumer among the EU members and holds rank three in worldwide comparison. Against this backdrop the junior research group "Global Change - Local Conflicts?" (GLOCON, FU Berlin) in cooperation with Misereor, PowerShift e.V. and Heinrich-Böll-Stiftung published a policy study about transparancy and responsibility along the supply chain.

We warmly invite you to discuss claims and strategies on the policy study in the expert discussion on 2nd of November 2016 at Heinrich-Böll-Stiftung Berlin.
